The Uxbridge Bantam AE hockey team headed south to Rochester for a tournament on the American Thanksgiving weekend. After 4 games, with a 3 and 1 record, the boys advanced to the semi-finals in 2nd place. With a convincing win over the Markham Waxers, the team avoided the border rush by waiting for the final game at 4:40 pm, when they faced the Leitrim Hawks. It was a fast paced final, but by playing hard and in sync, the Stars held on to a 3-3 tie at the end of regulation time. With no goals in 4 on 4 overtime, a shoot out ensued. With Logan Hess working his magic in net, and sharp shooters Carson Bell, Billy Baker, and Tyler Baker doing what they do, the boyz came out victorious. It was an outstanding team effort, both for the seasoned veterans and the new kids on the block. Congratulations to the “Geddes Doors and Windows” Uxbridge Bantam AE Stars!
